About the Yard

The Ormewood Dog Yard is a safe and pleasant place where neighbors gather to socialize, build camaraderie, and exercise their dogs. The Yard is built on the core values of responsibility, respect, community and trust.

Support the Yard

There is no fee to enjoy the Yard, but support is highly encouraged to keep the Yard running. Member support provides for liability insurance, lawn maintenance, waste removal, and other costs. Capital campaigns support general improvements, like fencing, chairs, and running water.

Similar to public radio and television, memberships are optional and there are a number of different levels and ways to donate, and it is through these funds raised that the Yard can support itself.
